What is child sponsorship program?
We are looking for child sponsor every year for supporting healthy growth of children and for providing the proper education.
Minimum but nutritious food a day, education, and medical supplies could be provided by this child sponsorship program. In the same way, children who suffered from poverty in the village can also be rescued from human trafficking or extremely hard labor work. Moreover, as you may know, there are lots of babies had to be killed right after their birth because of the economic reasons. Through this program we are also aiming to shelter more infants in our orphanage.
Eating just as enough, putting on clean dresses, living in the sanitary environment, and having an opportunity to learn fundamental reading and writing seems so normal for us who lives in the developed country.
But, in here, there are lots of children who cannot even have any of them at all. Also, there are many lives which cannot be saved by shortage of medical supplies and lack of medical facility.
Our activity aims at extending possibility of the children who bear tomorrow's society. For example, only if they know the basic circulation, they no longer have to put up with unfair deals with the buyers when they sell their products from the field. If they are capable to communicate in English, they will have plenty of opportunities to work as a tour guide since there are lots of Buddhist comes to visit Buddha Gaya from all over. Moreover, sawing is one of the main subjects to teach for elder girls to provide them a chance to cultivate some skills which may help them to live independently. We think this is very important and essential because suicide by DV from their husband does not sever the back.

Which children can I be a sponsor?

Children who has no relatives and are entrusted to the orphanage.

Children are entrusted to the orphanage even they have one or both parents because they do not make a living.

Children can commute from home, but still need support for poverty.
Can I contact to the child?

You will be delivered a letter or a card from the child twice a year. Other than that, you can exchange of photos and letters.
Can I choose which child I can be a sponsor?

Basically PremaMetta Orphanage School Trust will decide, but we would do our best to match your preference as much as possible.
How can I be a sponsor?

We recruit sponsors every year during March to April. You can be a sponsor from the middle of the year. In that case, you will be treated as a sponsor from the beginning of that year.
Ex) If you apply for sponsor in June, the
sponsor period is from the 1st April this
year to the end of March the following year.

Sponsorship agreement will be updated annually. We will inform you about the update separately.

We will accept cash /check and bank transfer.

We have to request you to hand in an application form and writing oath for security reason.
What will be the financial support used for?
To the child you became a sponsor.
